A comment from AllPoetry:
Scroobily - The structure of this poem is a lovely technique, a structure commensurate to some sort of scientific paper or some such technical writing. But it's not those things, but imaginative poetry. A lovely call-and-response structure that evokes a number of contexts outside of poetry proper. And the subject, TIME, is the key : our time is passing, and who is taking it from us? Who is using our own TIME against us? Or, worse, has our TIME been stolen from us? So what are we going to DO about it? Keep writing words, or ACT in the physical world? - while we still have power, before we're old and wasted, and are facing the powerless, and look back on a world of being-cheated-out-of-our-lives. This poem is a wake-up call to GET REAL and now. Or stay lost forever, no matter where you think you may be. Whoever you think you are, you're not that. So get smart, and do it NOW. Thank you poem : a great inspiring write. Best wishes, poet.
