在2019年美国法拉盛诗歌节中,33篇诗作从500多首投稿中胜出入围。很荣幸评委老师选中了我的作品,并且在4月20日当天我的“时钟之歌”成为现场8首朗诵作品之一。正如Mair先生在大会上所言“写诗是为了寻找意义”,感恩生活给予我创作的源泉,让我能用手中的笔去实现“真善美”的价值观。写作者回馈生活唯一可以做的只是踏实地生活,沉下心来写作。
时钟之歌

你我
曾像秒针
齿轮咬合着齿轮
三步并作两步
喘息地
向着分针狂奔
我们
也曾像分针
在高速中亢奋
也在负荷的疲惫里
甩下了灵魂
最后
我们会像时针
在同一个
人生命盘里
看大家争分夺秒地
冲向你
却在
命运之手中
机械地
停摆
除了嘀嗒声
忘了还有什么
可以重温
那天匆匆走在路上,仿佛听见了时钟的嘀嗒声,世界越来越高速地旋转,社会要求我们仿佛要不停地向前。现在国内还在提倡996,可是人类自身的需求是什么呢?心灵的渴望、家庭的互动、灵魂深处的诉求,我们活着只是为了符合工业及信息社会的劳动力的要求,还是在短短的一生中做个自由本真能好好体会生活的人? (当时写作时的体会,也和大家分享[愉快])

Used to be like the second hand
With gears engaged into each other
And with every gasp of breath
Making three steps into two
Running towards the minute hand
We
Also used to be like the minute hand
Extremely excited by the high speed
Yet we also left our soul behind
Due to the fatigue of overload
At last
We're going to be like the hour hand
Circling
In the same chart of life
Watching everyone racing against time
Rushing towards you
But in the
Grip of the destiny
We stopped to oscillate
Mechanically
Except for the ticking sound
We forgot what else
can be revisited

Jing Yu, a pen name of Xin Liu (Lucy Liu). She used to be a MD and hold a Master degree in Immunology. She was a winner of the National Youth Poetry Competition in China, and was shortlisted for Flushing Poetry Festival in the United States. She is currently living in Toronto, being a member of Chinese Pen Society of Canada and Toronto Chinese Poetry Club. Her poems, essays and novels were published in newspapers, journals and online.
