Q: Why can't the US and China live peacefully to help make a better world for the globe?

Good question. Many global issues, such as climate change and poverty, require global cooperation, which requires political trust. The building of political trust needs some basic etiquette, such as friendly people-to-people exchange and cultural exchange.

China has advocated for decades for no conflict, no confrontation, mutual respect, and win-win cooperation with the US. Yet, the US never accepts China’s proposal. On many occasions, China said that the friendship between the US and China is good for the people of the US, China, and the world.

But the US always suspects the intentions of China. The US considers China not its like-minded allies. With the growing power, why doesn’t China wage imperialist war like the West used to do? Why doesn’t China use its power to take advantage of other countries like the West used to do? China’s behaviour is different from that of Western imperialists and colonialists. When the US cannot comprehend China, it fears China. So it wants to destroy China because China is not like feathers. This is what Huntington theorized as the "Clash of Civilizations".

China does not give up. China is now promoting exchange between different civilizations. China has a different idea from Huntington. China says that different civilizations should learn from each other and know each other. The West fears China because the West doesn’t understand China. The West doesn’t understand China because it doesn’t think it needs to understand China. That’s the white supremacy mentality.

When the myth of white supremacy is broken, the West will learn from China and cooperate with China.

To make a better world for the globe is not the geopolitical goal of the US. The US never wants to make a better world for the globe. It just wants America First. To make a better world for the globe is the geopolitical goal of China. China has the vision of common prosperity. China has the vision of a Shared Future for Mankind.

People of the world should support China in making friends with the US based on mutual respect and win-win cooperation. No nation should fan the conflict between the US and China. No nation should take advantage of the conflict between the US and China.

For the US and China to live peacefully, the people of the world should support China. Only after China is dominantly stronger than the US can the US give up its white supremacist politics.

The whole world is at stake. The future of mankind is at stake. The world needs peace, not war. The world needs prosperity, not refugees. People of the world should show solidarity with China so that the US, China, and the world can live peacefully together.
