儿童用最直接的方式来表达他们的情感。常常让人忍俊不止.
一年一度的Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) St. Louis Suburban District Solo and Ensemble Music Festival 昨天在Parkway Central高中举行。高中音乐老师Kinworthy电子邮电是这样介绍的：
St. Louis Suburban Solo and Ensemble Festival. This is a voluntary opportunity for students to perform with a smaller group of people or even as a soloist for a standard based on rating and the opportunity to perform at the State Festival. The students have a specific time for the performance, room number, the name of the performance, students involved, and the accompanist if needed. Dress should be dress-up clothing--no t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings, or tennis shoes. Tuck in your shirt, wear a belt. Some ensembles even try to coordinate their clothes.
大概意思：圣路易斯郊区独奏与合奏音乐节。学生自愿，包括独奏和小组合奏，也是州音乐节的选拔赛。学生有表演的时间、房间号、表演名称、参与的学生以及需要的伴奏者。着装正式，不得穿 T 恤、运动裤、打底裤或网球鞋。衬衫塞进裤腰，系上皮带。团体也可统一服装。
老二参加了两个项目：钢琴独奏得了最高的“Exemplary”，有资格参加四月27号的州音乐节。 四人铜管合奏得了“Outstanding”，比他们去年的四重奏得分“Satisfactory”提高了一级。
下午三点我们到学校时，停车场车多，绕了一圈才找到车位。进了大厅，不少练习的学生。人声，各种乐器的演奏声，觉得快炸锅了。在剧院门口碰到老熟人Michelle。得知她二公子今年结婚，小儿子去年也上大学了。还碰到好几个朋友的孩子。他们皆长成了彬彬有礼的如玉君子。孩子们长大了。
