《三百多年前英国人是怎样面对黑死病的？》
30年前（1990）年3月，有幸去英国出访，考察环境卫生设施和管理。
参观访问途中，英方安排我们进入一个城镇（Eyam）的小教堂。导遊推开昏黑沉旧的教堂大门，我们鱼贯而入，导遊指着墻壁上的刻字解释说：“这里记载着公元十六世记中叶（1665年）发生在这里的一場鼠疫（黑死病）的故事。

一位来自南面伦敦的裁缝带来了瘟疫，死在这里，小镇中一半人染病了，一个人接着一个人死去。教堂的牧师镇定地召集能够行动的村民在教堂里祈求上帝，商讨对策。他们没有惊慌，没有抱怨，他们决定：1. 深埋死者，2. 自我封闭在小镇里，3. 在小镇的边界设立路障：【请勿进入，这里有黑死病】，4. 在入口标示：【放下药品和食物，远离我们】”。
“瘟疫还在肆虐，死人仍然不断。小镇没有人逃离，宁静的等待死神。外面的人正午把食物放在入口，镇内居民傍晚前取回，得以维生。最后“神跡”出现，倒下的人少了，病愈者增多。人们自身产生了抗体，死神离开了。” 35个人活了下来。
更为重要的是，Eyam 镇位于伦敦北上大道的路口，小镇居民的自我禁足和勇敢示警，阻断了南北交通和黑死病的传播途径，拯救了英伦三岛。
我们感佩英国先人的自律，明智和牺牲精神。是信仰的力量拯救了英国先民吧！

How did the British face the Black Death more than 300 years ago? 》
Thirty years ago (in March 1990), I had the honor to visit the UK to inspect environmental sanitation facilities and management.
During the visit, the British arranged for us to enter a small church in a town (Eyam). The tour guide pushed open the dark church door and we filed in. The tour guide pointed to the lettering above and explained: Here is a record of a plague (black death) that occurred here in the middle of the book of the Sixteenth Century (1665). )s story.

The priest of the church calmly summoned villagers who could act in the church to pray to God and discuss countermeasures. The priest of the church calmly summoned the able villagers to pray to God in the church. They did not panic or regret, they decided: 1. Bury the dead deeply, 2. Self-enclosed in a small town, 3. Set up roadblocks at the border of the town: [Do not enter, there is the Black Death here], 4. Sign at the entrance: [Put down medicines and food and leave us].
No one fled from the town, waiting quietly for death. People outside put food at the entrance at noon, and residents in the town retrieve it before the evening to survive. Finally, miracles appeared and 35 people survived. Fewer people have fallen, and too many people have recovered. People produced antibodies themselves, and death left.
More importantly, the town of Eyam is located at the intersection of London\'s North Avenue. The self-restriction and brave warning of the residents of the town replaced the North-South traffic and the transmission of the Black Death, saving the British Isles.
We admire the self-discipline, wisdom and sacrifice of the British ancestors. The power of faith saved the British ancestors!
