If you can grasp Woody Allens subtle message, either youre a skilled writer or you possess a remarkable touch with language, which is quite impressive for someone with only a formal education from elementary school. The film features a compelling storyline, engaging dialogues, and a dynamic action/reaction sequenceScience, philosophy, and religion.

Nobody loves the 20s more than me, and this could have been such a great movie. The locations, the clothes, the gorgeous cars - BUT the writing was horrible, Colin Firth was terrible, a totally unlikable character even at the end, and there is less than ZERO chemistry between Firth and Emma Stone. I mean - who casted this? Horrible casting. Totally implausible. Watch it for the clothes and the locations. Thats all its good for. What a shame.

Cant believe this movie ever got made. Romantic comedies were waning in 2014. The power of Woody Allen I guess. I wonder hoe different it would be if Amy Adams had the role...Emma Stone just seemed too young for Colin.

Interesting thought, you made me look up their ages (now) Adams is 49, Stone 35.so that is a big difference. Interesting the internet randomly also listed Rachel McAdams is 45.she could have worked too. Considering this is by Allen..not shocked by the age difference portrayed.
