This movie was very much like "Braveheart". For me the most gripping scene was when the was holding his son as the Indians were treating his feet. I felt that pain - their acting was so good. Also a great ending, with Al Pacino notions for why American Revolution was fought!
Best part is the story. Wonderful portrayal of actual events/history. Since beginning of time ther has always bn greedy leaders wanting to conquer. In 18th century 1700s was the British and French. England went into Canada, South Africa, Canada. They tried to do it to America but we fought back and won. The best scene for Pacino was trying to keep his son awake/alive. Very well done. Impressive 
Like many myopic 'Revolutionary War' movies, this myopic adaptation gives the French all the glory for their assistance yet, they failed to mention Spain and predominantly General Galvez, whom fought the British at the South from the colonies and kept the British at bay from ever joining General Cornwallis up north. Also, the hundred of thousands of, gun powder, ammunition, muskets, and textile for the uniforms of the "Continental Army," and silver, nor the fact, that at Lexington on Washington's right when the British surrendered. You're welcome.

All that those brave Patriots fought for, and created for us, has been tossed aside, in the trashcan by today's Marxist Left Media & Politicians. American Culture, and the peoples Love for our once great Nation, has been trampled to the dust, by those greedy, Corporate leaders, who bought out the politicians and Electorate, to make themselves even more rich. All while We the People suffer with Worsened Education, Jobs, Systemic Racist Affirmative Actions, and an Economy that is plummeting to the depths of the oceans. I pray that we return to Constitutional Rule of Law and the Declaration of Independence soon. If America does not, then the turn into a Tyrannical governed Communist Nations will be finalized by the Marxist Democrats, across the lands.
