His film’s selling point was a style of kung fu that can only be executed to adopt in a particular situation - improvising according to his environment, more like a standing comedian, so that he called the shots on the spot, never with rehearsal. Jackie Chan found the perfect balance between kung fu and humour, and the result is thoroughly entertaining. I've come back to his faction of martial art from time to time, flashing light my way to my scientific writing of research papers and invention (patent application) - I jot down fresh ideas while absence of mind "viewing" "audio-echoing" his action, a way that I found cozy for creative writing.
