经历了60到现在几个年代，joni的魅力不减，“当一切都尘埃落定后，琼尼·米歇尔可能会成为20世纪晚期最重要，最有影响力的女性歌唱家”。多巧她曾经写过Stardust，星尘，多美的想象。

她低头轻抚吉他，飘逸的金色长发遮住面颊，仿佛为自己营造一个避风港。她的声音时而如行云流水，时而热情如火，在冰火交融的气氛中，她可以从小旅舍桌上一杯咖啡，一枝玫瑰唱到世界和平，从阿姆斯特丹唱到加州，每个简单的音在她的唇间都诉说一段情感，一个故事。她的音乐天赋用什么语言来形容都显得苍白。
看到Joni，想到影片Forrest Gump 里阿甘的女友Jenny，一个背上吉他闯天下的女子。Joni出生于加拿大小镇，她兼备北欧的修长身材和苏格兰爱尔兰能歌善舞的天性。
王菲在访谈中提到joni mitchell 是她最喜爱的歌手，她自己唱的旋转木马让我想到joni唱的the circle game.她们是落入凡间的精灵，“你说我象云，琢磨不定，其实你不懂我的心”。在双鱼座的我眼里没有谁对谁错，没有成规与成见。心痛有之，欣赏有之。唯静观，理解，祝福。再抱抱小嫣儿。

joni自己作词作曲演唱，用心感受什么是适合的，有些曲子加了四五十个不同的和弦，刚开始不被人认可，不久就被称为经典。曾有人说琼尼的和弦是怪和弦，琼尼说，哪里有怪？ 那是我的心声，我的感受。。。我想，那是她最真实的心弦~~~~
joni的音乐很有特色，没有人能唱她的歌儿。她不拘一格民歌摇滚爵士蓝调都尝试，象她的一句歌词"Love is touching souls, surely you touched mine... "
joni一生经历了那么多，经年回首，一切都欣然接受，都成为财富。加拿大草原养育了她，她唱的Canada和California 我都喜欢。业内对她评价很高，在1995年，她接受了告示牌billboard的世紀大奖，从69年到08年获得了九座葛萊美奖，还获終身成就奖，葛萊美奖形容她是「搖滾年代里最重要的女性音乐人」以及「对所有艺人有著強大影响，充滿多样性、创造力与正直态度」的杰出艺人。
不管她得多少奖，十几年来慢慢听慢慢喜欢上的，她的歌是对生活的最好的探索和诠释。人生如歌。恋恋不舍。

谢谢小小这么知音，最早知道王菲是出国以后表哥表嫂告诉我的，后来回国还买了她的CD，打破了以往高亢的中文歌曲演唱法，娓娓道来，很喜欢。常常陪我跑步，开车和静静休息的时候。joni也经历了很多坎坷，觉得她接受自己慢慢变老，希望王菲也心安，也许她想华丽转身，从人们视线消失。
