Yesterday Once More （昨日重现）

 

When I was young                        昔我幼时

I'd listen to the radio                     喜听电台

Waitin' for my favorite songs        候吾爱曲

When they played I'd sing along  随之哼唱

It made me smile.                         微笑自现。

 

Those were such happy times     彼之欢时

And not so long ago                     去今未远

How I wondered where they'd gone 疑其何去

But they're back again                偏又重归

Just like a long lost friend           似友重逢

All the songs I loved so well.      吾之爱歌。

 

Every Sha-la-la-la                       每拍节奏

Every Wo-o-wo-o                        每声吟哦

Still shines                                   依旧生辉

Every shing-a-ling-a-ling            缕缕悠扬

That they're startin' to sing's       歌声再起

So fine.                                       美好如斯。

 

When they get to the part           当其唱至

Where he's breakin' her heart    君伤妾心

It can really make me cry           我泪纵横

Just like before                           恰似从前

It's yesterday once more.           昨日重现。

 

Lookin' back on how it was       回看究竟

In years gone by                       数年已逝

And the good times that I had  旧时良辰

Makes today seem rather sad  愈显今哀

So much has changed.             时过境迁。

 

It was songs of love that           爱之歌曲

I would sing to then                   我愿再唱

And I'd memorize each word    忆其声声

Those old melodies                  老歌旧调

Still sound so good to me         依旧动听

As they melt the years away.     消融岁月。
