AWD- All Wheel Drive? (Four Wheel Drive), I thought it is only needed for snow and mountain area. Never popular in plain area such as in Texas.
SUV definitely gives you the height privilege on the road. Once you get used to drive SUV, you may not want switch back to the Convertible which of course is much fancier as seen in a lot of movie scene. Lexus SC 430 is one of the cars I would drive. But I finally selected sports sedan.
Lexus RX (300, 330, now 350 plus 400h) is very popular among Chinese ladies. But, it is over-populated now. The alternative choice should be Mercedes-Benz ML 350.
Personally I like SUV, as it giving you higher vision. AWD gives ladies more reliable feeling. While I sometimes I long to have a convertible, small one, but higher quality. The reason is simple and vague. In the movie "Shawshank redemption"(one of my favorites), there is scene, driving the convertible with freedom along the beach.
