Golden rays of sunlight shining wherever she walked
Friendly listeners willing to listen when she talked
Lovely nature greeting her throughout the day
With twittering and song, everything was going her way.

她走过的地方，阳光下闪耀着金色光芒
她说话的时候，友好的听众愿闻其详
可爱的大自然整天在向她致意
叽叽喳喳和歌声，幸运之光照在她的身上。

And what was the center of this uncontrolled joy?
Her heart filled with only innocence , everything was unalloyed
Her life revolving around a pure spirit, a forever friend
A loyal companion eternally devoted to her to the end.

是什么带给她这无比的喜悦？
心中充满了纯真，一切都是那样的一尘不染
她的身边有个纯粹的精灵，永远的朋友
一位至死不渝，忠诚的伙伴。

Although stern and grumpy, sometimes cranky with sleep
Her companion meant all goodness, forever truing to earn his sleep
Always lovingly and adoringly gazing into her eyes
He would never to a thing to do something she despised.

虽然严厉，脾气大，不时在梦里胡思乱想
她的伴侣意味所有善良，永远配得上他的睡梦
总是亲切友爱地凝视着她的眼睛
从不做一些她所不齿的事情。

Affectionately always there, with his reassuring face
Fondly welcoming her with a snug and warm embrace
Ready to defend the girl with all the strength he had
He would never do a thing to make her the least bit mad

那里总有，他一成不变的面孔，
贴身热情的拥抱,一往情深,友好地欢迎
竭尽全力,时刻准备保护女孩
从不做任何事，带给她丝毫的不宁。

Energetic and full of hope, along side he happily dwelled
His sparking eyes encouraging her whenever she fell
The gentle touch of him was comforting in every way
The friend to the girl was the sun of the day.

他精力充沛, 充满着希望，愉快地居住一旁
每当她跌倒，他会用闪亮的眼睛将她鼓励，
每一次柔和地接触，都是一种安慰
女孩的朋友，象是那天上的太阳。

Her spirit high, her heart full of contentedness that day
Smiling as she thought of her friend, ready to go out and play
The only thing she had on her mind was to have fun and pleasure
With her one and only companion, her life's sweet treasure.

那天,女孩心满意足，精神高昂
想到她的朋友，她微笑着，准备出去玩
她的思维中唯一的事是找乐子和乐趣
和她仅有的伴侣，她的生活是珍宝甜点。

She knocked upon the door one day, expecting boundless delight
instead she found a scene that would leave her horrified with fright
Her special friend was missing from the paradise she had made
The girl searched all through the day and night, and finally with exhaustion she laid

那天，女孩敲了门，期待着无边的喜悦
而见到的，却使她惊恐万分
她的特殊朋友，在她的天堂里不见了踪影，
日日夜夜地搜寻，她终于倒下，精疲力尽。

Every nook and cranny was scoured, every hiding place was searched
As the melancholy downed upon her, her stomach gave a lurch
Her heart beat thumped slowly and she closed her eyes with despair
Trebling with fear etched into her face, where was he , where?

到处走遍，搜寻了每个隐藏的角落
她的胃突然难受，被忧郁击倒
绝望地闭上了眼睛，心跳砰砰地慢了
他在哪里 ？在哪里？她的脸上刻着恐惧的颤抖。

Blinking away tears from her joyful face, unwilling to face facts
She sighed with an empty space in her heart, her friend never came back
But deep within herself she knew, all good things come to an end
Why oh why had it been this way, the loss of a faithful friend?

她快乐的脸上挂着泪花，不愿面对现实
她在内心深处叹息，她的朋友不会再回还
但在她的心灵深处，她知道，毕竟曲终人会散
为什么呀，为什么会是这样？失去一个忠实的夥伴？

The memory forever taking its place, lodged beside her heart
Never expecting her dedicated companion and her would be torn apart
Misery cloaking the girl in a murky aura of shadows
But ever hopeful her friend had found a better place to go

记忆将永远占据它的位置，寄宿在她的心脏旁边
决不期待她和她热忱的伴侣被撕成两半
忧伤的女孩被阴影黑暗的气氛笼罩
但她希望她的朋友找到了一个更好的家园

And I lay there staring into the empty midnight blue
Finding no comfort in the past or present, the old or new
"Soon," I murmured, "Soon he'll come home,"
And I lay there thinking he'll soon be with me, no longer to roam.
