学习祷告zt

Amy Carmichael was born in Ireland many years ago. She was brought up in a happy Christian home. Very early she learned to love Jesus and talk to Him in prayer. " Jesus always answers when we pray." Her mother assured her.

Amy had brown eyes, but she wished to have blue eyes like her mother. One day she decided she would ask the Lord to change the color of her eyes to blue. Mother said that Jesus always answers.

Before she went to bed that night she prayed that the Lord would change the color of her eyes. Confident that the Lord had made her eyes blue. She climbed on a stool the next morning and looked in a mirror. To her dismay. Her eyes were still brown. Jesus hadn't answered!

Then a thought came into her mind: " Isn't 'no' an answer?" Amy learned from this experience that sometimes God says "no" to our prayers. He does this because He understands what is best for us.
