想买IRA，请问去银行买，还是去证券公司买比较合适？

1. If you want to hold CD, money market fund, it's probably better to go through bank.

2. If you want to do stock, mutual fund, it's probably better through a brokerage, like scottrace, e-trade, and many others.

3. If you want to do other types of investment, like rental, business, business loan, mortgage, and many others, it's only possible through some special custodian companies.
