两年前，John Edward 矢口否认这孩子是他的，一年以前他说“不是不可能”，现在他说 “这个女儿是他和Ms Hunter 生的。”
JohnEdward是民主党中颇有影响的人物，2004年总统大选，他距副总统宝座仅咫尺之遥，2008 年总统大选他曾是很有希望的候选人。他的太太患了无法治愈的乳腺癌。在重病治疗期间，她仍是鼓励，支持 John Edward 参加竞选。如今，John 不但有诽闻，还闹出个孩子来。政治前途葬送不说，在老婆面前也灰溜溜地，“里外不是人”. 真不知道他是怎么想的？？？
其实道理很简单，男人是非常易冲动的动物，如果眼前的女人是他想要的，他一定要先得到她。“既得为快”，其他的吗，以后再说。你能说他“笨”？“没想到后果”？ 不是，他当时什么都不想，或者他不是用“大脑”来想的。他事过以后会后悔吗？当然后悔，肯定后悔，但是“当事者”的他此时是绝对一个人转不出来的。他真的是被“迷”住了。远的不说，看看克林顿，南卡州长，纽约州长等等这些政治上的要人，你就不难做出这样的判断：男人花心是天性，不是没有“外遇”，只是没有机会，或机会不成熟，或 ”外遇” 程度有别罢了。
（实在不想一杆子打翻一船人。）
