Green Plums

As an amateur soprano or baritone
the not so harmonious duet
could have lighten up the roof
but put off by one sided silence
The spiking of emotional tidal waves
came from some simple reinstatements
or resistant stubbornness
over a little sequence in processing and preserving green plums
The very prominent features of which are
bitterness
and sourness
Sweetness in aftermath however
our non-compliant daughter
went washing the dishes voluntarily
without a word to either side
a slient night till midnight
then ended in the honey soaked sleepless jar
