Moon River

The river always running
but tranquil from heart
Blending with the moonlight
I could hear your light breathing
soften the shimmering ripples
I hold the bank dearly
against the tender but persistent steam
silver plated
shapes of any form you wish
dreamy but better than I could ever dream
It leads us into another universe
but connected via our body and soul
transparently and surely
