Not the sun
Could always shine through the windows
to greet you with the warmest hug
Not the moon
Could slip into your dreams
not whispering good night
but to see what's going through your dreams
Not flowers or plants
be there to greet you
when you walk by or run by before the dawn
and see your smile in real time
What is left with words
to replace routine greetings
There is only that much creativity
to stretch over time
