Fire and Water

Not sure
I would rather have the flame of love
burning the trail of our paths
or have the river of love
flowing longer into the future
The flame would not last
and might devour the love itself
The river would be too cool
and might get frozen in the winter
Too bad there is not a God or Goddess
of both fire and water
Or it is lucky not to have a God and Goddess
of fire and water in one
so two
could make the perfect storm
at all time
