Faster Than Light

Does it really matter
when something is faster than light
Not unless someone tell me
it is soul

For the difference it matters
only a glimpse of life
a sigh of death
even for mankind

For the theory it is up against
well beyond the rim of the universe
For the hope for us to see
it is not much beyond the sky

I would rather have a snail soul
negative even, to stretch my time backwards
waiting for the dust to settle
into the la-la land
from where it all started
