     此专辑《Murder Ballads》的中文译名是《谋杀情歌》，不要被这个名字吓倒，这张专辑正是探讨了“爱到死亡仍是爱”这样的一种撕人心肺的各种可能的情形。这首《Where The Wild Roses Grow》回忆了一对男女，在一见钟情后的三天里发生的故事：第一天，男的遇到了女的，然后他问她哪里有大片盛开的野玫瑰；第二天，她带着他去看了那个地方，他送给她玫瑰；最后一天，女的死了，他与她吻别，然后对她说所有美丽的事物都会死掉，他放下一枝玫瑰在她微微开启的牙齿上。

　　美好的爱情实在太短暂了，就像那野地里的炫丽玫瑰，花季一过，就谢了。这确是一个比较唯美的爱情故事。有时，爱情恰好是一种姿态，把它放在心里面，而不是现实中，还是很美的。
