Father shark takes his son to hunt for the first time.
They spot a surfer and sneak up on him.
The son is excited and wants to attack immediately.
But the father holds him back and says:
“No, my son. First, we’ll circle around him a couple of times.”
So they swim around him several times, then they slam into him and eat him.
Afterwards the son asks:
“Papa, why do we make these boring circles around at all?”
The father answers:
“The prey first has to see us. They get scared and lose control of their bowels, then we attack.”
“Why is that?”
“Then they taste better.”
