This book is largely based on Midler's personal experiences with the Chinese manufacturers, exporters and US importers. At times the book can be so funny that would make you laugh out aloud. The humor partly comes from the cultural misconceptions between the manufactors and the importers. But I do not agree with the author's biased and misinformed blanket conclusion that everything is pooly made in China. Neverthless, it makes a good reading, if not agitated, when you close the book.
