今夜星光灿烂--Comet Lulin（图）

1996年的一天夜晚，一个7岁的中国小男孩儿用一个小望远镜看到了一颗拖着美丽，蓬松慧尾的星星。起初他以为自己发现了一颗彗星。但他后来得知，两名男子“海尔”和“波普”早已发现了它（海尔波普彗星--Comet Hale-Bopp）。自此以后他一直梦想着有一天能找到自己的彗星。

2007年7月的一个午后，那个小男孩儿叶泉志已经长大，成了中山大学的学生。他趴在桌子上，聚精会神地观看一张台湾天文学家林启生(Chi-Sheng Lin)在几天前的一个晚上于鹿林天文台(Lulin Observatory)进行巡天观测时拍摄的一张星图。叶泉志的手指从星图上的一点移动到另一点，突然停了下来。他发现，那些恒星中的一颗星并不是恒星，而是一颗彗星。叶泉志成因此为第一个发现这颗彗星的人。那颗彗星以拍摄到它的天文台而命名为鹿林彗星（Comet Lulin）。

以后鹿林彗星逐渐逼近地球，到现在它已是一颗肉眼都能看到的美丽的绿色星体。

当得知2月24日鹿林彗星将以最近距离飞越地球（大约6000万公里），错过这次，要等2千8百万年才能再见，在夜深人静的时候，我忍不住走出户外想一睹她的芳颜。立春虽已过去，现在还是晚冬，夜晚的户外仍然有着让人凛冽的寒意。微弱的灯光透过窗户撒在地上，照着还没消融的雪泛着淡淡的白光。抬头望天，这是一个无月的夜晚，夜色竟是如此深邃，星光灿烂。

我突然感到有些迷茫，望着浩瀚星空中闪闪的繁星，哪一颗才是我要找的，那一颗才是鹿林彗星？

不禁想起多年前Selena的一首歌《Dreaming Of You》，

Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I stay up late and think of you
and I wish on a star
That somewhere you are thinking of me too ...

也不由感叹她在当时如日中天、事业正在顶峰时惨遭不幸，如陨星般坠落，让人不胜唏嘘。但因她而拍的一部传记电影却使另一个新星（J.Lo）冉冉升起。

按图索骥，在天空的东南方，先找到土星，再找到狮子星座（Leo），最终在土星和狮子座之间大致发现了那颗不明不暗的鹿林彗星，在10x50的双筒望远镜下如针鼻般大小闪着幽幽的绿光。

连续几次放下，又拿起望远镜看着那颗远方而来的过客--它最终会离我们远去，虽然有些不舍，但某个时候一定还会有新的惊喜再次接近我们。当我最后一次仰望星空准备回屋时，我好像听见在遥远星空的某处有个声音在说：我是你的Lucky Star。。。
