Dali Universe

Description:

Step into the surreal Dalí Universe at County Hall Gallery. With over 500 works by surrealist master Salvador Dalí, the exhibition features the Lobster Telephone, Mae West Lips Sofa and the original canvas in the Hitchcock film, ‘Spellbound’. Audio guides in seven languages are available (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Japanese) with a children’s guide in English.

Picasso: For the first time in the UK, a striking collection of over 50 works from the 20th century’s landmark artist, Pablo Ruiz Picasso.

Hampton Court Palace

Description:

The flamboyant Henry VIII is most associated with this majestic Palace, which he extended and developed after acquiring it in the 1520s. Its many royal occupants have ensured the palace has fabulous furnishings, tapestries and paintings. It is set in 60 acres of formal gardens, which include the famous maze and the Great Vine.

HMS Belfast

Description:

Moored on the River Thames, HMS Belfast is Europe’s only surviving big gun armoured warship from the Second World War. Explore nine decks of this great historic cruiser, from the Captain’s Bridge down to the massive boiler and engine rooms well below the ship’s waterline.

Tower Bridge Exhibition

Westminster Abbey

Description:

An architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries, Westminster Abbey also presents a unique pageant of British History – the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. It has been the setting for every coronation since 1066 and for numerous other royal occasions. The 700-year-old Coronation Chair is on permanent display alongside the tombs of many of the most famous kings and queens of Britain. However the Abbey is also known for more sombre occasions - the funerals of Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother took place here.
