加州之行

My dear friends,

   During the Thanksgiving this year, I made a trip to California and was warmly received by Haiyan and Yongli, and their families.

They connected with me by phone and by email, and made a detailed plan; they picked me up and drove me to their houses; they treated me very well, tried their best to make me at home, and even spent several days showing me around. I’ve learned a lot from them which is not available in books.

I find something in common in them:

Both of them have their happy families. They are loved and even a little spoiled by their husbands, who are handsome, intelligent, diligent and sincere,…. All these can be easily seen and sensed.

Their daughters are excellent in character, intelligence, academic achievements, appearance and other aspects. They are really cute and well-educated.

You can see what I said is true from the photos I took for them. They look young, attractive and energetic, and they even have slim figures! You can hardly find changes in their appearance. They are optimistic and very nice. They are excellent both in their work and in their life. They are stars in their friends.

All these days I stayed with them, I felt I was the most fortunate one in the world, except some valuable photos lost in my computer. To my much disappointment, all the photos I took in the first day when I stayed with Haiyan’s family. Maybe I was too excited, so were my camera and computer! It is a great pity that you are not able to share the pleasure!

In a word, they are very generous and friendly, and my stay with them is really a joy and unforgettable. They are even better than what can be imagined. I feel extremely flattered and owe much to them!
