As of Oct 2007, they have released a brand new album which also features this song... see details below. Angele is co-founder and first violinist in this all-female ensemble. I have been fortunate enough to see them live twice. They play with an intensity, precision and passion that I have rarely seen nor heard elsewhere. Their arrangements (mostly done by pianist/arranger Louise-Andre Baril) are also of particular interest for many of the more popular pieces they perform. This particular piece, composed by François Dompierre, was written for La Pietà. Although critically praised, I believe they may be the most under-appreciated gem in today's classical music industry. And having met Angele and some of the current performers, they are very gracious and kind as well!
