Rebound! Rebound!!
I've been following this season's project runway religiously. after yesterday's show, they are now down to 4 contestants. although i totally get it that this is a reality show versus a genuine talent contest, i still can't help invest in the various contestants.
anyhow, i wanted to pick a few bones with yesterday's episode.
first of all, it's so very tacky for the show to re-instate, albeit very briefly, the two previous ousted contestants (vincent and angela). they got the boot already too belatedly and now they got a second chance? i mean - hello? i suppose the real agenda is to enhance the tension among the remaining five designers but this strategy is just so low. and of course the 2 lost contestants were ever so delusional that they just had to go through the humiliation yet once again. tacky tacky tacky.
and then that laura won this challenge. i mean come on. this entire season all the clothes she did was just this one high waist skirt. and yesterday's baby doll wasn't that different. i had so wanted to see her, not kane, to get the boot.
i actually got quite nervous when jeffery was in the bottom two. i have to say that i gradually got invested in him - he's so edgy and real. and i think he's versatile regardless of what the judges said.
who knows who'll land in the final three. nothing's fair i can tell you that much!
(i suppose life runs in cycles - that you get some good then you get some bad. so on and so forth. no one wants bad but you have to endure it 'cause that's the way things go. bloody murderous hell.)
