Day 2.

两地分居的日子

(July 31, 2007)

 

Today, it is raining and really cold. I waked but not up at 7.00. The door ring made me have to get up. The building janitor came and let my roommate talk to the manager. The reason is that my roommate parked her car not exactly in her parking spot due to her driving skill. The side parking spot also was occupied by her car, so the owner of side parking space has to park his truck on the street. That man got mad and complained to the building manager.

 

The building manager changes my roommate’s parking spot. I also signed the lease with the manager for my living in this apartment. To be honest, my roommate’s driving skill is quite ‘’. I worry about my safe, when I am in her car. But finally, we park her car on the right place, after adjust parking.

 

Tomorrow, somebody will install the cable for us, which is quite nice. I will finish no internet and no telephone life. A girl who is my roommate’s friend helps us contact the internet company. I am very happy about that. This girl lives very close to our building, and will visit us tonight.

 

This afternoon, I will go with my roommate to see her specialist for her rheumatism. She is nervous about her rheumatism and her English is not very good to communicate with doctor. I do not know how severe about her rheumatism and how terrible about this disease. She said it may cause paralysis in the future, and it is said living cancer. It sounds horrible. Good luck to my roommate.

 

I did some preparation about my first day of work tomorrow, such as documentation, clothes, and bag. I think I am ready for my new job. Good luck Nanan for everything!! 加油!! 努力!!

 

 

 

Spark- about my diary.

I have some idea about my diary; maybe I will continue writing in English, at lease for 6 months. If everything is ok for me after 6 months, I will write it in Chinese. I hope I can insist on writing it. I was used to writing diary when I was in the university in China. After I am in Canada, it seems the life is too busy to write something. In a word, when my life becomes standard and regular, I usually would like to write diary.

 

See specialist.

We sent up at 1.30pm and back home at 3.30pm. The specialist was not here, so the receptionist makes another appointment for my roommate. It is not easy to find that clinic. We lost many times, even on the way home we lost again. I am not sure my roommate can easily find it next time by herself. Next week, I will work everyday, and have no time to see the doctor with her. Poor roommate!!
