02/04 - Calm Down!

Market tricked me today. Morning I short for 3 points and happy. Afternoon, I got the pattern I waited and jumped in to short (1530). I was very sure, So I entered with large size. Then all the sudden I felt the emtion to win and to win big. I felt different. I realize this and decide to reduce size. So I took profit (which means I was right) on the way down. After the size is correct, I decided to wait till it dropps to my target 1525. NQ touched 1526.5 and stopped. Normally I'd just cash out, even it's not at my target. But, because I have gains, and I had been successful through out the week, I became greedy!

I decided to wait for the target. Lucky my dicipline is still there and I ended up close at 1532 at even. What a sad story!

I switched to long afterwards, but the previous trade affected me mentally. I cashed out with only two points (2 / 8 = 25%).

Well, afterall, I gained a little today.
