Thinking

I stopped trading for the morning. I had my mind set to short for the afternoon. Shorted from 1528 to 1522. But I did realize the market was strong when I watched the ticks moving back and forth. I realize I didn't pay much attention to reading tapes these days. I tested long and then long again from 1521 to 1526. It really bothered me when ES made new day high but NQ stayed below. I tested short from 1526 to 1524. I tried to hold my shorts but ES was way too strong. I switched to long again and hope NQ can catch up with ES. I couldn't hold it long as it appeared selling was big too. The price movement was very strange so I sat out for the rest of the session.

I feel a big change is coming as market was a mess for the last 45 minutes. I could see big sell orders kept coming in and at the same time other big buy orders kept coming. I'd better be careful.

I am trying to come up with a new stoploss rule. AD will definitely not work for me as my capital management won't work with my trading size. At the same time there are a lot of fake break out in future market. I think a combination of points and time would filter out fake breakouts. I am gonna keep it as 2 points and 3 minutes for now.
