荷的心事

一朵含苞待放的夏荷
心儿在心事中裹缠
谁能把裹缠片片剥开
谁能把荷的心儿呼唤出来

无缘的人啊
不是走得太急
就是来得太晚

甜蜜的心在等待中
化为了苦莲
结果无法改变
荷的心事
成了一孔孔的藕断丝连

A summer lotus bud that's ready to bloom
The heart's wrapped in worries
Who can peel off the wrapping petal by petal
Who can call out the heart of the lotus

Oh, the hapless one, who
Either leaves too hurriedly
Or comes too late

The sweet heart in the waiting
Has become a bitter lotus
The outcome can't be varied
The worries of the lotus
Have become holes with unbroken fibers
