英语拾零:occur, happen, take place 的区别

1) occur vi.发生, 出现

解析：【同】happen, take place 
occur是一般用词，可指某事情偶然发生或者按照计划进行，

在表示具体失去的名词作主语的时候，可与happen换用，但比较正式，

跟to短语时，表示“想到”，而不是“发生”，比如
  如说something occurred，意思是某事发生了.

An idea occurs to me that going to Switzerland for traveling will be marvelous!

 

2) happen 可以表示"发生"的意思,为不及物动词vi ,是"发生",或"偶然发生"的意思.

 

例如: How did the accident happen? 这事故是怎样发生的?

If anything happens,please let me know. 有什么事发生,请告诉我.

 

例如: I happened to meet him on my way home.我在回家的路上碰巧遇到他.

(注:如果happen后接不定式,是"碰巧"的意思.)

注:happen是不及物动词,不用被动语态.

3) take place 发生；通常指经过安排的 ,指有计划的使某事发生 .

When will the wedding take place ？
婚礼什么时候举行？

Great changes have taken place in my hometown.

 

4).
happen往往还有恰巧突然之意，

例如it just happen.表示它就是发生了（言外之意，无法预料。)

It happen to sb. 中happen意为发生
I’m very sorry for all happened to you.

It occur to sb意为某人忽然想起
for example,

It occur to me that I haven't cleaned my room yet.
我忽然想起还没打扫房间 .
