Possibly Another One

Called Millie today. Asking what she wanted to do with her apartment. She said she had visited other apartment in the same building. They did something nice that she wants to do too.

I spent some time going over with the details, found they were what we talked about the other day when I first saw her apartment. I asked her how much they spent on the renovation. She told me a very low number. I said to her, it is impossible for my guys (people i would recommand to her) to do the job for such a price. I said, you should ask your neighbour who they used, and hire the same guys.

She then said the price did not include material. That's more like it.

The more she talked with me, the more she thinks I know the business. At the end of the conversation she told me how much she wants to spend. I said I will get some people & prices.

If the price is right, I might start this project soon.  If the money is not right, I will give her the contacts, and stay out of it.

I start to like small projects. They are more interesting.
