地处山东省微山县鲁桥镇最北端，微山湖北岸，泗河东岸有一所南王小学，
南水北调工程、济东煤矿夺走了这个村三千多亩耕地，到处积水塌陷，庄稼颗粒无收，村里的农民，四处奔波谋生。 多数的孩子成了留守儿童……

二十年了，学校，为什么还是这个样子，山东省微山县，当官的都在干什么？我真的很想知道，每一天都在喊口号，为什么？这些孩子没有人管呢，这些教室里，好多都是七八十年代的房子，很多都是危房，阴暗潮湿，孩子们怎么能得到好的教育？“在穷不能穷教育，在苦不能苦孩子”，可在现实眼前，都是在演戏，村干部，乡干部，县干部，都是主角，孩子们就是被戏剧里，永远也演不到的幕后。
