    现居美国的中国民运人士魏京生日前在日本成田机场遭到拘押，事件正引起海外民运团体的严重关切。据魏京生的助理黄慈萍（现任女友）介绍，６月１日魏乘坐飞机开始他对日本和关岛的一周访问，然而在他抵达日本成田机场时，却被日本海关拒绝入境并扣押。不仅如此，魏京生还面临不公道的待遇，包括不许他与外界自由联络，不为他找翻译，等等。不过，另有消息说，６月３日魏京生已被转送到东京机场的过境旅馆，由于当天飞往美国的航班已经结束，所以只好留在那里休息。　
   
    黄慈萍透过互联网，向海外民运团体通报了这一消息，并请求各方营救。日本警方扣押魏京生之后，拒绝提供患有严重糖尿病的他所适合的食品。黄小姐非常担心魏京生的身体，说，“他有严重的糖尿病，日本方面拒绝给他提供适合的食品和药物。我们实在是很难想像一个民主自由的国家会如此虐待患有严重糖尿病的魏先生本人与他的健康。”据介绍，6月2日魏京生在日本的朋友林飞等人曾买了食物和药品准备送给魏京生，结果等了一晚上，都未能如愿。他们目前仍在与机场方面交涉。
   
    民运朋友担心魏京生有被遣返中国的危险，但是黄慈萍认为，“老魏没有违法行为，不会被遣返会中国。不过允许入境日本的可能性不大。”对于魏京生赴日原因，黄慈萍拒绝透露，却表示，“魏先生一切手续、证件都齐全，日本有关方面如此粗鲁的对待魏先生，我们实在是不明白有什么理由，我们估计只有一种可能性，就是来自中共的压力。”
   
    时事通讯社６月３日报道指出，据相关人士透露，日本入国管理局（移民局）有工作人员说，魏被拒绝入境的原因不是手续上的问题，而是得到了上面的指示。不过，魏先生不甘愿被如此送回美国，会与日本有关方面继续交涉。
   
    ２００６年魏京生曾到日本活动，参加由藏独、台独、疆独、蒙独及日本右翼团体共同举办的会议，当时入境没有遇到任何麻烦。
   
    对于魏京生遭到日本拒绝入境并扣押的原因，目前有各种不同的猜测和说法。有日本人士透露，近年来魏与北海道独立团体多有交往，可能触怒了日本政府。据介绍，魏的日本朋友白井伸明，便是一名活跃的北海道独立分子，著有《北海道论》，宣称“时机成熟时将成立北海道国家党”。１９９８年１２月魏京生在台北接受李登辉总统接见时，曾公开表示“山东也可以独立”。相互间的政治意向本来就有许多默契，因此，白井伸明视魏京生为“知音”亦有迹可寻。
   
    另据新闻资料，２０００年７月魏京生在巴黎机场准备离境返回美国时，也曾遭到法国警方的扣押，导致他被迫滞留了一个多星期。当时魏京生告诉西方记者，由于他一直反对美国给予中国贸易最惠国待遇，要求美国停止与中国的商业往来，触怒了克林顿政府，所以美方才迟迟未出面。不久，纽约哥伦比亚大学将魏京生从办公室中赶走,理由是三年来他没有写出任何东西。
   
    魏京生，１９５０年５月２０日出生，祖籍安徽，曾是北京动物园电工。１９７９年因“向外国人出卖军事情报”和“反革命宣传煽动罪”，被判刑１５年。１９９５年因“阴谋颠覆政府罪”以及宣称“西藏是一个国家”，又被判刑１４年。由于魏京生一再自称在狱中病情严重，并遭受虐待和殴打，西方国家为此不断向中国施压，要求立即释放他。１９９７年１１月，魏获准赴美“保外就医”。然而，美国医疗机构对他进行全身检查之后得出结论：魏京生身体健康，没有遭受过肉体上的虐待。魏到了国外之后一直忙于四处募款，现担任“海外民运联席会议”的主席。数年前他在美国马里兰州购置了豪华庄园，此后黄慈萍小姐便出现在他的生活中，并担任执行主任之职。
