going to Franklin Horner drop in centre with baby,Dec.17,2012

This week is my last week home with baby before I am back to work after one year of maternity leave. Time flies! A year has past just like that! I can't even believe how fast it is!I treasure this last week relaxing home with my baby.I want to spend it well everyday. It was quite a long time we didn't visit Franklin Horner drop in centre. I decided to take her on the Monday. We arrived at the drop in centre around 10am, it was circle time when we entered the room. All the kids made a circle on the carpet to sing along the nursery rhymes with the ECE teachers. We joined to the group, not long the circle time was finished. It was snack time. Wow, today we had a mini Xmas party, lots of parents brought in home made treats and goodies e.g.cookies,cakes,bakery etc, and some fruits, chips,mini samosa, mini hot dogs,cheese,what a feast for everyone! I put my baby in a high chair, then gave her some cookies and cheese. It was her first time to taste cheese, she loved it. I gave her more cheese. She also had a bit fruits.After the snack, it was free play time. She played for a while on the carpet with some toys. This week will be the last week that the centre open before the holiday. Then it will be closed until Jan.I decide that I will take her to the drop in centre here, or to Lakeview readiness centre in Mississauga when I am not working. It will be good for her to learn and grow.
