of course, i see the sofa :) the sofa's transparent existence - - - the fading surrounding, mark of time - - - makes me think "drawing out of Zen" . . . see-through . . . through the material world . . . the real existence . . . to me, it "functions" as a contrast . . .and balance . . . and not too much like other artists . . . :)
