ONE NIGHT I STOPPED TO PEE IN A POPPY FIELD IN OREGON & I HEARD A BEAUTIFUL SONG I remembered the fun, as a kid how I loved pissing in the fresh snow to see the little bullets like golden rain drops piercing through the perfect shiny surface of the white powder out in the cold! It was instinctive of a boy to mark his name on virgin snow Sometimes there were more of us standing with little peckers in hands and competed until the last boy ran out of ammunition Tonight, what I am holding in my hand has grown bigger, darker and hairier with years of hiding outside the sun (also the fondling and measuring in the way a monk or a nun plays with the prayer pearls with eyes closed) Standing at the edge of a poppy field in the center of moonlight and silence I take my time slow, feeling each sound in the joy of pissing in the wide open inhaling the fragrant night & ghosts from past rains in small heavens If you were here, I would let you (not unlike a firewoman holding the hose aiming at the heart of wild fire) control the violence of a man, like a little girl learning to fire a gun . . . . If the body really housed a soul that was when I heard the song in the poppy field outside of town two bodies wrestled as one to the melody of eternity between a woman and her man in the fertile land of love where a woman and a man can truly become one + z.z. 2006 [art by roi james]

发，但不是LIMIT。尤其在艺术里，在生命灵魂的探讨里。。。没有止境。。。止境
就是绝境。
如果看过JACK LONDON的WHITE FANG，大概也会知道野兽有时和人[某些人一样]一样
具备著某种叛逆的素质。。。但生存迫使成群结队，就象人一样寻求安全合群。。。
当然说人和兽一模一样，那也不完全。。。
“把幽默来分别人兽，好像亚理士多德是第一个。他在《动物学》里说：“人是唯—能笑的动物。””
“自然界如飞禽走兽之类，喜怒爱惧，无不发为适当的声音，只缺乏表示幽默的笑声。” （水做的幽默：）
所以我觉得幽默诗很难，就像Freedom很难，为一个unchained soul/spirit（individual soul？）很难，“not the kind of freedom mostpeople talk about....it is the kind of freedom with discipline in artistic expression, and close to the unchained soul/spirit...."
“一切的艺术不过是拨云见日的...风起云涌, 如妄想杂念, 来去无踪...”自由谈何容易。。。“but, the sense of 自由 is expressed in real 艺术 ...”
不对噢，任何生命都可以笑！狗就会笑。：) 人有高出其它生灵的，但不能因为别
的生灵不能表达出我们能懂得的，就否认它们的情感。。。这是我越来越有的感受
律周所说的水，大概是灵魂
这首诗歌里有它的自然美。回忆刹那间的苏醒后，过去与现在的交织。。。可以感
受到思维的流动。。。
是的，不足以称自由为艺术，但艺术在自由的翅膀之上吧

这首诗歌让我觉得耳目一新的地方其实是表达的自由，感觉的自由。。。诗歌可以写PEE，但写得艺术需要“水”。。。
律周：“水是诗歌的载体”，那什么是诗歌的水呢？。。。

"诗歌的魅力也在于它的无形....好的诗应该如水....人是什么？？？百分之九十几的水啊！！！"，

the kind of "gravity" discussed by Simone Weil...."anti-gravity"，那不就是"grace"吗。。。“human’s fOrmless/fOrm, never fOund/nOr lOst”，人属无形，真的艺术是治愈人，还原人。。。
所以这首诗歌的幽默在于，用幽默用人最本能的快乐之“水”来诠释艺术至高的“自由”还原人之如水的本性。。。这首诗歌我还是以为是智慧的，因为智慧所以幽默。。。“天为之笑”。。。
所以，律周，哪来的“水能载舟亦能覆舟”，你该不是说一泡尿覆舟吧:))))

maybe that is why many people are afraid of poetry...:)
however, 艺术 does not equal 自由 ...
a lot of 艺术 have very little to do with true 自由 ...
but, the sense of 自由 is expressed in real 艺术 ...
i remember that we talked about Love on here before ...that is, Love does not
necessarily mean Freedom ... some poeple Love in order to Control/Manipulate...
but, Freedom is found in true Love....

终于明白了，我常直觉觉得很美的诗，常常有一种舒畅的感觉在里面，说起来就是自由的感觉。。。
幽默诗我以为是最难的，就像这幅画，看上去有点沉重，人生历史沉重都太严重，但是幽默减少了人生的严重性沉重感。。。：“人是唯—能笑的动物。”不笑很可惜，但是诗歌让人笑真的是“天为之笑”。。。
老实说，读到题目：“ONE NIGHT I STOPPED TO PEE IN A POPPY FIELD
IN OREGON & I HEARD A BEAUTIFUL SONG“，我联想到Miller在“Black Spring”里骑着自行车，停下来to pee。。。老实说那是我非常喜欢的一段，也是一种自由的感觉。。。我在琢磨的是那是一个"Saturday Afternoon",而这里是“One Night”。。。“幽默（Humour）的拉丁文原意是液体。。。幽默是水做的。”。。。

“淘气”(反叛)，激情，性感，智慧！！！
知凡读到的最好的诗歌之一。。。
读诗歌的时候，我喜欢“赤裸裸”地读，“赤裸裸”意味着没有思想束缚和没有想要评判的态度，用心用灵魂读，“赤裸裸”地去感受，感受诗歌中的美，是一种享受。。。
而说到诗的时候，是一种意识活动，开始用脑子说话。。。我其实很想用感觉说话，但是如果用感觉说话，我会不自觉地戴上“面具”说话，而且还不只一种“面具”，并非我“虚伪”，而是说话是交流，这个世界不是艺术的伊甸园，每个人有每个人的尊严自由与愿望。。。而艺术就是美，永恒的美，我如何能将我读到的美表达？除了我个人赤裸裸的感受，用脑子用感觉说出来的话都不能完全表达，每个人都需要“面具”，“赤裸裸”的快乐在夜与光中，在想像里，在信任里。。。
而世间表里内外，肉体与灵魂，快乐与痛苦，男人与女人等等这些人类永恒的问题就像配这首诗歌的画，空留余痕，无能变更。。。
于是我读到这首诗。。。
什么是诗歌？
Miller推荐的一位作家Jean Giono的好几本书，其书名很吸引我我还没有时间去读：
“Blue Boy”
“She”
“Refusal to Obey”
“The Joy of Man’s Desiring ”
“Lovers are never Losers”
“The Song of the World”
……
读完这首诗歌，我明白这些书名为何对我有吸引力。。。而这样一首诗歌，似乎几本书，至少从书名来看，其中心含意全都已包含其中。。。这首诗很美很美。。。
