I like all your comments! Indeed, I mostly sing for my own enjoyment. :)))
The same as the other forms art, it is sort of a vehcile to channel out one's feelings. Controling the vibration of the sound can create internal pleasure . :)
but,
who cares!!
it is about feeling, knowing, imagination, etc...
each and everyone of us should learn how to express them ...
only by expressing them, we might hope to improve the art....
i hope all friends on here will find creative ways of expression!!

i am not familiar with 蔡琴的歌....don't even remember when i last heard her songs....

like making drawings, an academic/institutional/traditional trained painter will look at my drawings and say, "this is children's works" ....:)
but,
who cares!!
it is about feeling, knowing, imagination, etc...
each and everyone of us should learn how to express them ...
only by expressing them, we might hope to improve the art....
i hope all friends on here will find creative ways of expression!!

YY: you are right! I just learned this song and I am not familar with the song at all. When I sang, I felt that I pushed myself to catch up the melody (Banzou). I felt short of breath and hurried through like talking.:) Almost no room for the emotion. :)
I never listened to "the last night". Will search and listen. DO you go to Baidu?

This song, musical wise, is not a beautiful song, too wordy and I don't like it much. But it is somewhat match with the paint. :)

actually, "paint like a child" is a compliment....
when Picasso was old, he said "I wish I could paint like a child again"...
i think s.d. sings to enjoy herself too....thus, we can all enjoy!!

最爱听的是她的“最后一夜”－如缓缓的叶落，纷飞，但情感非常内敛；感觉你的
声音还在胸腔以上发出来的，很仓促，有点抢音；感情里还没有融入对这首歌曲的
旋律，甚至歌词的理解。。。先不要排斥它的歌词，要不干嘛选它呀；闭上眼睛唱，
深呼吸。。或许感觉不一样吧。。。：）
个人意见了，请多包容。：）
我只是喜欢欣赏，但发现我喜欢的歌，却不分民歌或流行，歌剧或摇滚，传统或先锋。。。好像也太“花心”了一点。。。慢慢地我觉得，每一个灵魂来到这个世界上有属于他们的不同的Gifts。。。我只是很尊重那些用他们不同的特长带给我的享受。。。
民歌中的有一些我还是很喜欢，流行歌曲我一直喜欢的就不多，只喜欢几个“老手”，比如邓丽君，蔡琴，我分辨不出来，只是觉得她们有她们的功夫，特别是那种“度”把握得非常好，而且少有人能企及。。。我对她们感情不变，我很少变心的:))))))))))
ＺＦ：蔡琴和邓的歌风格很不同。共同点是她们的歌音域都不宽，但她们对吐字很下功夫。
