It was raining

The night sky

Stars flying before me

I whispered at your ear
The flowering plums
Was my constellation
Gentle petals
Dyeing your fingers red

In the cottage
You built with love
I woke slowly
Light leaking
Through the window
We kissed
Like intertwined flowers

You slowly dissolving
Into the distance
I saw me, a young girl
Many years ago
Looking up
At the dancing sun
In the sky:

Light flickering
On the paper

It’s raining
Coldness soaking
Into the fragrance
Of dreams
You are in my heart
Floating
& kissing
The stars
In the water
