安省美术馆有藏品长期展及特展。 其展厅分布于整个建筑物上下五层，其中主要的第一、二层是汤逊欧洲艺术藏品展，照片及绘画展，雕塑、非洲艺术展，艺术大师亨利摩尔雕塑作品展等。三层为多功能厅，展馆的四五层以现代艺术为主。展馆内并设有宴会厅、餐馆及咖啡厅等。
重开的安省美术馆长期馆藏作品超过 73,000件。展品中40%为新展品，均为该馆近年来采购或接受捐赠。其中最核心部份是加国收藏家汤逊夫妇(Ken and MarilynThomson)的收藏品，包括加国画作、欧洲小件雕塑、欧洲文艺复兴时代巴洛克画作、船模，中国鼻烟壶等。
安省美术馆收藏很多名家名画和雕塑。

我最喜爱的材质是光滑、细腻的象牙。在安省美术馆，我平生第一次看到几十件（可能上百）象牙雕塑，各个精美，真是大饱眼福啊。
