To celebrate the new coming year, my husband and I went to East Lancing, Michigan and had an exiting trip. A friend of my husband, who is a PHD student at Michigan State University, prepared everything for us.
Michigan is located in the northern part of America and the weather is a little bit colder than New York State. So on the day after arriving in Michigan we decided to ski. In fact it hasn't snowed since the beginning of this winter. So there is man-made snow in the ski lane, but the green grass can also be seen besides it. I like skiing, but I am not professional. Luckily, I met a nice coach and he patiently taught me to make turns. At last, I got it and I could ski from the highest point of the lane. Both coach and I were excited.
We also went bowling and played pool and poker. One thing that must be mentioned is that I got 130 points which was the highest bowling score I have ever gotten in my life.
East Lancing is a beautiful town even in winter. We took many pictures by the lake and we decided to show them to our friends and parents.
I was impressed by the trip and we really enjoyed the trip a lot! I love my husband and my husband loves me.
