Bible + English Study on Feb 22/06

During the study of Bible, I learned some words and expressions. Spurn shows the disagreement, kind of sign of ready for fighting, trying to make trouble. mob is similar to gang, a group of people intended to do bad things. When someone say something against you which is not true, what will you do? what's your reaction to it? Well, some body will stand up and defend themseves, some one will just ignore it, let it alone, give up the explanation and defense, continue your own step without conversation with that guy and no arguement. It is really depends on the person himself and the situation it is for. Everyone will face difficulties somehow in work/study/life. Sometimes you are assigned to perform some management works, though someone else on the top make the decision. ANd if there are someone have much more experience than you happends to be under your management, he probably make trouble for you, complaining, mocking, challenging, pushing you and give you a hard time. Under such circumstance, you need to stand strong, knowing what you going to do, make the decision and be confident. Do not give up and you will go through and endure this hard times, make it through. Tribution usually means trial, testing, hard times. When big project, mid-term, or final term is coming, people usually spontaneously show the stress felt by others though not talk with others. AT this time, you probably need assurance by someone really understand your situation, who related to you somehow and ideally had similar experience. Otherwise, assurance from those who do not really know what's going on may just help nothing. Healing therapy includes spiritual as well as physical method. In the Bible,people who have strong faith were healed by Paul (deciples, apostles of Jesus). That kind of wonders, miracles were done by the God through Paul. When some of those people want to praise and show respect to Paul with wreath of flowers, Paul showed humble and credit all these to the God.
