Dimensions of thoughts, memory and language

I am curious about the dimensions against time and space of thoughts, memories and the ways we presents by language, music and pictures. How our thoughts and information are organized. How many dimensions do they have. Are there a encoding process and a decoding process when we store and retreive the information?
We know that language is one demensional against time. When we speak, we need to speak one syllable a time. Syllables come together to form words, then to form phrases and sentences, then ideas. However, ideas are multidimensional. We could express our ideas by words, by music, by drawing or other forms. Sometimes, I got confused about what is an idea. An idea does not have any forms. What we got about an idea is its presentation by language. Somebody may have a great idea; however he/she may not be able to describe it effectively because of the limition of the ability of presenting. The decoding process is a skill and could be trained.
Thoughts, ideas are multidimensional. We know what it is by intuition, however, we could not express it fully. We can describe it to other body using voice, words, pictures, music and any forms of presentations. However, sometimes we still feel that other body could not understand my thoughts.
What is our thoughts? Is it vague or clear? I believe that thoughts are related with intuition. It may be vague itself and become clearer with language, the most common presentation of thoughts.
When we are listening, reading, we are encoding information into our memories by our imagination. When we are speaking, showing our ideas, we are taking that information from our memory by navigating through it, similar to taking ourself down to a trip through the garden of thoughts.
