Bernstein,?Greenwich High School's 2025 valedictorian, said he was between three schools — two Ivy League universities, Yale University and Harvard University, along with prestigious Stanford University.?
"I visited all three and ultimately I felt like Yale was the least cutthroat environment and that was something I was really looking for, especially within science," the 17-year-old said. "I feel like collaboration is just so important and so I really felt that Yale fosters a sense of collaboration and community. I think that was really the factor I used to decide."
Greenwich High's 2024 valedictorian,?Hanna Klingbeil, also chose to attend Yale. Klingbeil also got into multiple elite schools, including Stanford, Duke University, Georgetown University and Brown University.
