One of Evan's infant room teachers started "Evan-ater" as his nick name way back when he was still in the infant class. I have no idea how she came up with this name and doubt it has any actual meaning. We have made it clear since that we would prefer him to be addressed as "Evan" in the daycare, however, "Evan-ater" kind of growing on us and occasionally we would tease Evan and call him "Evan-ater" just to be funny.

Yesterday my husband asked Evan what his middle name was which was a very tough question as believe or not, we never really told him before.

Evan blinked his big eyes and thought about it for quite a while and answered: "Nater."

Hahaha...
