前两天，我在美语论坛读到了惠兰翻译的美国诗人玛丽.奥利弗的《Wild Geese》，想起了《雁南飞》这首歌曲，我在Youtube上找到了刀郎和黄灿对唱版本，刀郎那沧桑的嗓音把这首歌曲演绎的非常到位。那“天苍苍，野茫茫”的艺术视频制作，更增添了这首歌曲的凄美感染力。刀郎，原名罗林，以一首《2001年的第一场雪》而闻名歌坛，黄灿则以一曲《黄玫瑰》，为世人所熟知。
诗人玛丽.奥利弗是如此描述大雁的：
"The wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things."

Mary Oliver was in Maple Heights, Ohio, a semi-rural suburb of Cleveland.She began writing poetry at the age of 14, and at 17 visited the home of the late Pulitzer Prize winning poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, in Austerlitz, upper New York state.
