语言和数字
美语坛的网友ryu分享的《Something About Attitude--The Beauty of Mathematics〉非常的有趣，作者用英语的26个字母和26个数字，巧妙的排列组合，来阐明Hard Work，Knowledge和Attitude三者之间的关系。可谓是数学和语言的结合，有数学的精密，有语言的生动。虽然我对这些数字的不敏感，然而, 这不并不妨碍我对这篇文章的欣赏，这是一篇简洁明了的励志好文，颇受启迪，尤其喜欢文章的结尾：“While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, Attitude will get you there."
我也不由地想起了培根《论求知 Of Studies》的一段名言了：“Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man.Histories make men wise;poets witty; the mathematics subtile;natural philosophy deep; moral grave; logic and rhetoric able to contend.Abeunt studia in mores.”何新的《论求知》也翻译的非常好，一并附上：“读书使人的头脑充实，讨论使人明辩是非，作笔记则能使知识精确。读史使人明智，读诗使人聪慧，演算使人精密，哲理使人深刻，伦理学使人有修养，逻辑修辞使人善辩。总之，“知识能塑造人的性格”。
