Vince Gill简介

Vince Gill于1957年4月12日出生于美国奥克拉荷马州的诺曼（Norman），原名Vince Grant Gill。Gill从10岁开始学习吉他，中学时代加入当地一支叫“山雾”（Mountain Smoke）的乡村摇滚乐队，后来加入乐队Pure Prairie League担任主唱。1983年推出首张个人专辑《Turn Me Loose》，专辑中的单曲“Victim of Life's Circumstances”在 1984年获得乡村排行的第四十名，并且夺得了“乡村音乐学院”（ACM）的年度最佳新进男歌手大奖。

1992年夏天Vince Gill推出专辑《I Still Believe in You》，这张专辑在1993年为他夺下了该年度格莱美奖“最佳乡村男歌手”的称号，而专辑的同名主打歌曲也拿到了“年度最佳乡村歌曲”奖项。除了在音乐方面的成就，Vince Gill还热心公益，积极参加各种慈善活动。（摘自网络）
